    Right Steps Academy has a mission to create an interactive, warm and loving environment which will help children develop and learn with the best practice measures and individual differentiation strategies suited for each child within the program.

    Overall, Right Steps Academy directors, teachers and aides aspire for children to form secure attachments and love learning within a safe setting, which promotes cognitive and language abilities.

    Right Steps Academy will pursue best quality in early childhood education. Quality in education derives from best practices, stimulating materials and toys which enhance and promote learning, an adaptive environment for children based on needs, as well as highly trained staff and educators, who will follow program guidelines to promote development, safety and care.

    Activity Description

    The integration of music is done on a daily basis. Children learn sounds, letters, shapes, days of the week, seasons and holidays for circle time routines as well as language acquisition and pronunciation skills.
    Music allows for children to enjoy learning while gaining memorization techniques based on patterns and notes within the music.

    Activity Description

    Allowing children to have healthy daily meals does not only benefit the growth and development of the child but has an effect on the child’s ability to learn. Children focus and develop better listening skills when they are eating healthy meals. Right Steps Academy serves daily lunches.

    Movement

    Activity Description

    Movement is a vital part of development for young children. Allowing for children to dance, run, jump and crawl promotes gross motor development which in turn allows for children to gain life skills. Movement is encouraged during the instructional day with interactive lessons, as well as during outdoor activities which are scheduled in the morning and in the afternoon for each child.

    Early literacy is crucial for reading and writing skills for young learners. Literacy impacts language skills and begins with print awareness and phonics.

    The skills gained within activities which are creative and interactive begin with fine motor development, allowing children to practice their pincer grasp, decoding colors, shapes and textures, and much much more. 

    Art is practiced, appreciated and promoted within each aspect of life within Right Steps Academy. Beginning with take-home weekly projects and shared collaborations, art is always a part of our curriculum.

    What age groups do you serve?

    We welcome children from 1 year old though Kindergarten, offering age-appropriate learning experiences that help every child grow at their own pace. We teach in small groups in every classroom to ensure each child learns at their individual level and is continuously challenged as they develop.

    Is tuition all-inclusive or are there extra fees?

    Tuition includes breakfast, lunch, snack. There are no hidden fees or surprise costs.

    We have secure entry systems, background-checked staff, and strict safety procedures to give families peace of mind.
