Enrollment Procedures
At Right Steps Academy our goal is for your child to be in the best of care, therefore please understand that we are on rolling registration based on availability and spaces within the class and/or age group of your child. Priority enrollment is given to siblings of current attendees and all other placements are made on a first come, first served basis.
Step 1: Schedule a Physical or Virtual Tour with Our Director
Please note that official identification is required upon visiting the facility. Please if you can bring your child so that he/she may experience the tour as well. The mission, vision and play-based curriculum of the school will be showcased, as families get to see first-hand the multitude of learning activities children have within the Right Steps Academy campus. Ask questions from the director, meet our certified teachers and be part of our interactive experience, as you make the decision of enrolment.
Step 2: Arrange for a Classroom Visit
Step 3: Submit Application Form and Enrollment Fees
Documentation required by the Department of Children and Families as well as Lee County Childcare Licensing must be all submitted prior enrollment. Fees must be paid with a 72-hour window to ensure space/placement. Students must have Immunization Forms and Health Form from the Pediatrician prior enrollment and all medical documentation must-be-up-to-date to maintain enrollment status.
Step 4: Select a Start Date
Upon completion of all applications, medical records and fee submission, the family may choose a start date based on the class/space available. The director will guide the family throughout the process of beginning the first day of preschool. All children who begin preschool will be asked to have at least a half a day visit for the first week of their attendance to make sure they are ready for the full-day schedule. Parents, please remember that our overall mission is the health, safety and best care for your child; therefore, all students who begin preschool will have differentiation in procedures and practices based on age and their social-emotional development.
